Rules
-Basic rules. Be respectful, be tolerant, don't overuse profanity. We'll give you a warning or two, and then suspensions, but we will ban you if it keeps up.
-Naturally, we don't appreciate godmoding or powerplaying, which includes auto-hitting, in roleplays. Your post length should be reasonable too - no epics are needed, but at least four or five sentences should be manageable. Legibility is appreciated; everyone makes mistakes, but no chatspeak.
-At this time, there is no limit of cats you can have, but don't play more than you can handle. If any of your characters becomes inactive/unplayed for a length of time without good reason, they have to go. ): All characters should have flaws beyond being emo or hyperactive. Cats who aren't medicine cats, leaders, or healers shouldn't have special dreams or other powers, unless the plot includes it.
-Names should be sensible. While a few suffixes like -flight or -feather can be accepted, for the most part traditionalism is promoted. (And if you're a strict traditionalist, I hope a small percentage of the names being different won't drive you away from an otherwise good, literate site. D:) No two living Clan cats should have the same prefix. Tribe names don't have many rules, but try to make them similar to the canon ones.
-Crushes and relationships between cats should have the consent of both roleplayers. Fights are the same, but the outcome has to be decided beforehand between the two players, although you can keep it a secret.
-If your queen has kits, only play one of the (four maximum) kits, and put the rest of them up for adoption. You can choose their appearance, base personality (very brief, maybe one or two words in their description), and name. Any left unadopted will be NPCs or killed off.
-Your apprentice or to-be really should have a mentor before he or she is used in roleplay (unless you know they're mentorless for some reason), so post in the Apprenticeships board once they're accepted.
-Name, appearance, and history changes should be made to the profile as your cat grows. We'd also like you to add two months to their age for every month that passes in real life. Kits will grow at triple speed, though; one can't roleplay sleeping and play-fighting for three months.
-If you’re in one area, don’t have your cats wander out of it, and continue roleplaying in the original board. Once it’s clear that the cats have left the first area, create a thread or join one in the correct place. Liquid Time roleplaying is generally discouraged.
