Name: Hawk that soars through sky
Rank:Cave-guard
Gender: Tom
Age: 27 moons
Affiliation: Tribe of Gusting Wind
Apprentice: Open
Kin: Ledge, brother; Rock, father; Dusk, mother
Mate: Open
Appearance:
This cat's fur is short, but soft. He never really has to deal with matted fur, or ruffled fur after battle. Just a quick grooming and he's good. He thinks grooming is a waste of time, and they don't have much time to spare. Feeding the tribe, teaching To-Bes the way of the tribe, not much time in his mind.
His colours are those of a dark tabby. He has many shades of brown, starting from tan, going to orangey-brown, and ending with dark chocolate. He also has black and white markings on his pelt. Since his fur is short, all of his stripes are visible. He has black stripes down his forehead and they blend together making a black line going down the back of his neck, on his spine, and down the tail. That line is like the trunk of a tree, and his stripes are the branches, connected to the core. Stripes on his body run vertical, the stripes on his tail are more like rings, making his tail look like a lemur's. All four legs have horizontal stripes on them as well, but stop a few inches from his orangey-brown paws. His body is mainly dark brown, but with orange pieces of fur thrown in, also with his tail. He has black below his nose, and his muzzle turns from orange to white where his lips are. He has tan around the top of his eyes, and a more of an orange under.
His whiskers are average and white, the ones on his muzzle are more visible than the ones above his eyes. His muzzle is average in length, but narrow is width. His eyes are like almonds, and amber with some darker brown shades mixed in at certain places. His paws are incredibly large for a cat, and tuffs of tan fur come out between his toes, and his tail is wide and long.
Build, you ask? This tom has average leg length, but is very bulky and strong. His muscles are large, and he can jump high, but not run too fast. His muscular body slows him down, but he tries his best when it comes to chases. His large paws make him an excellent fighter, his claws are thorn sharp, and his long fangs make him feared. He is perfect for the spot of a Cave-guard, even as a kit he was bigger than the others. His body is long, like a tiger's, which gives him quite an advantage in battle.
Personality:
Hawk likes being the biggest in the group, and isn't afraid to brag about his size. He also likes to know that he's feared, it gives him determination to be stronger. His goal is to be one of the best fighters/Cave-guard, it was his dream as a kit. He dislikes large Raptors, and fears them, but doesn't want anybody to know. He also isn't to found of To-Bes, they get on his nerves. He likes being challenged, and does his best to beat the challenge as another show-off move.
He isn't very social, he's not a gossiper, but he does like to know the news on the Tribe. He hates to see loved ones dead, and loves to see hated ones injured. He isn't much of a power crazy cat, he just likes to be strong. He would never want to be the Healer in the Tribe, he couldn't handle the pressure or responsibilities. He's perfectly fine where he is, a Cave-guard. If he doesn't have much to do, he enjoys just laying in the sun, and watching the Tribe.
Hawk is very skilled at fighting, and wants to make sure his fangs and claws are sharpened before going out of camp. One of his weaknesses are kits. He has a soft heart for them, and he likes to watch them play. He would be devastated if he witnessed a kitten die, it would turn him into a completely different cat.
History:
Kit
When Hawk was a kit, he often played with his brother, Ledge where winds are fast, and practiced play-fighting. He always pinned Ledge down, and Ledge would complain how it wasn't fair that Hawk was so much bigger than him.
"No fair!" Ledge once squealed,"You always win!" Hawk had smirked had got off of his brother. "I wanna win sometime!" He heard Ledge mutter as he stomped off. In a few minutes Ledge would get over it and challenge Hawk again, and he would win again, and the same thing would happen.
"It's not my fault I'm going to grow up to be the strongest Cave-guard ever!" He shouted to him once, and got a lot of blank stares from cats around him. He felt looked down on, when all eyes were on him, so he was determined to prove them wrong, and that he was going to be the biggest and strongest Cave-guard. From that day on, as a kit, all he thought about was practicing as a Cave-guard, and how much he couldn't wait to be a To-Be.
To-Be
Becoming a Cave-guard To-Be was the most exciting thing Hawk had ever felt in his life. He was glad he was one-step closer to showing everyone how great he could be. In training, he always tried his best, and wanted to impress the others badly, he wanted the attention. He enjoyed learning the ways of the Tribe, and preparing himself for his life-long job. He liked to hear praise on how well he was doing, and got frustrated when he messed something up, or didn't do something right. His ears would flatten and he would hiss under his breath. He wouldn't do anything else, even eat, until he had learned and did what was correct. His whole life was wrapped around being the best, and the best was what he practiced being.
Cave-guard
It was a proud day when he heard the announcement of himself, finally becoming part of his dream. He had a half of it done, he was a Cave-guard, but he needed to work on becoming the strongest and the Biggest. Everyday he tried to strengthen his muscles somehow, and loved every minute of being what he was. But he felt anger when the Tribe had to move. He didn't want to leave hims home, he knew it too well, and he was afraid to attempt settling in somewhere else. He showed no emotion on the outside, but on the inside he was bursting with words. He followed the Healer's commands, and was relieved to find a decent place to live. But when he learned of CloudClan, hatred rose in the depths of his throat, and he wanted to tear them to shreds. He often thought, Why can't they just accept us? Why can't they just accept the fact that we don't believe in some "StarClan" and don't follow "The Warrior Code"? He didn't like how much they complained about borders, and was confused how it was such a big deal. But, he tried to get over it.
